Honey with salmon is a delicious combination.  This dish makes an excellent supper dish.  Just make sure the honey is not burned.

Preparation Time: 10 Mins

Cooking Time: 7 Mins

Total Time: 17 Mins

Ingredients

For 4 servings…

4 fillets            Salmon  - skin on      

3 tbs               Honey  - runny        

2 tbs               Vinegar  - balsamic   

1 tbs               Olive oil     

Method

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish, skin side down.

Whisk the honey with the balsamic vinegar and spread most of it over the fish.

Heat the oil in a skillet over a high heat.  When the oil is hot, add the fish, skin side down, and cook for 5 minutes until the skin is crisp and the salmon is nearly cooked through.

Heat a grill so it is hot.  Spoon any remaining honey mixture over the salmon and place the fish under the grill for 2 minutes until it is cooked through.

Serve.
