This simple recipe for tuna kababs can either be char-grilled (barbequed) or simply grilled.  Either way it is simply delicious.

Preparation Time: 5 Mins

Cooking Time: 4 Mins

Total Time: 10 Mins

Ingredients

For 2 servings…

1½ tbs            Olive oil    

½                   Lemon  - juice of      

½ tsp             Oregano    

¼ tsp             Peppercorns  - black, crushed   

½ tsp             Salt  - flakes

2 steaks           Tuna  - cut into 2½ cm cubes  

Method

Blend all the ingredients except the tuna together in a bowl.  Add the tuna, mix together and set aside to marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Thread the pieces of fish on to skewers and char-grill for 2 minutes on each side.

Serve with a green salad.

Variations

If a char-grill (barbeque) is not available, the kababs can be cooked (for the same duration) under a grill.

As an alternative to tuna, swordfish can be used.
