These are simple but delicious kebabs. The red onions are what make it. Preparation Time: 10 Mins Cooking Time: 10 Mins Total Time: 8 Hrs Ingredients For 2 servings… 2 slices Belly pork - cut into 2 cm cubes 1 Red onion - quartered For the marinade 1 clove Garlic - crushed ½ tsp Italian seasoning Pepper - freshly ground, black ½ tsp Salt To drizzle Olive oil To garnish Parsley - chopped Method To marinate the meat… Combine the marinade ingredients. Add the pork and onions. Leave in a fridge overnight. To make the kebabs… On to metal skewers thread the meat and onion - alternating between the two. Do not crowd too much. Leave at room temperature for 30 minutes. Heat a grill to a medium-high heat or prepare a barbeque. Grill for 10 minutes in total – turning once. Let the kebabs rest for 3 minutes before serving. Variations The recipe specifies using belly pork and the fat in the belly makes the kebabs succulent. If the fat is not liked, tenderloin can be used. Wine recommendations A red wine.
