Scrambled eggs is one of many ways of cooking eggs (it is said that there are 685 French recipes for cooking eggs). In its basic form, scrambled eggs is simply eggs beaten with pepper and salt and cooked slowly in melted butter. To this basic recipe, many different additional ingredients can be added to make different dishes. Some recipes suggest adding milk or water to the eggs. This ruins the eggs and should only be done if there is food rationing.
