This is a simple, but interesting, way of cooking mushrooms. They can be cooked under a grill or on a barbeque. They can be served as an hors d’œuvre or to accompany other food. Preparation Time: 10 Mins Cooking Time: 5 Mins Total Time: 45 Mins Ingredients For 2 servings… 6 Mushrooms - chestnut For the marinade 1 tbs Soy sauce 1 tbs Honey - runny 2 cloves Garlic - crushed Pepper Salt Method Mix the marinade ingredients together. Trim the stems of the mushrooms so they are level with the caps. Add the mushrooms to the marinade and leave them for 30 minutes. Thread the mushrooms on to skewers and cook under a hot grill for 5 minutes – turning once. Wine recommendations A white wine.
