Fried cauliflower with garlic |

This cauliflower dish comes from Spain and is traditionally served as a tapas dish. It does, however, make an excellent supper dish or as an accompaniment for meat or fish. The inclusion of garlic and paprika gives the cauliflower a flavour that is quite different from the flavours usually associated with the vegetable in the UK. Preparation Time: 10 Mins Cooking Time: 10 Mins Total Time: 20 Mins Ingredients For 4 servings… 1 Cauliflower - small Salt 4 tbs Olive oil 2 cloves Garlic - chopped 1 tsp Paprika 1 tbs Parsley - chopped 1 tbs Vinegar - Sherry Pepper Method Divide the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Cook it in boiling, salted water until soft. Drain. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Turn the garlic in the hot oil until it softens and takes a little colour. Sprinkle on the paprika and add the cauliflower. Fry for a few minutes until the cauliflower browns a little. Sprinkle on the parsley, vinegar and salt and pepper. Serve hot or cold.
